About The Jamz Tournament

From Suheil Jammal, II

Tournament Director

On September 22, 2019, "The Jamz Tournament" began.  This was my first time running a Tournament, but I knew I wanted to focus on two things:  team play and fair averages.  Team play is the backbone of bowling; and I wanted to see a packed bowling center, if possible.  And fair averages...well...it's hard to achieve, but that is one reason why I require a 30 game minimum for average consideration.

At the first tournament, 50 teams entered at AMF Sky Bowl.  And I was extremely happy with that turnout.  One year later, the event jumped up to 122 teams.  And with that growth, I decided to start running Jamz twice a year.  Here's a look at all tournament counts since the beginning:

September 2019:  50 Teams on 4 squads
September 2020:  122 Teams on 4 squads

March 2021:  224 Teams on 7 squads

September 2021:  346 Teams on 10 squads

March 2022:  446 Teams on 14 squads

August & September 2022, Labor Day Weekend:  542 Teams on 17 squads

February & March 2023, 3 Weekends:  623 Teams on 21 squads

August & September 2023, Labor Day Weekend:  538 Teams on 17 squads

February & March 2024:  633 Teams on 21 squads

August & September 2024, Labor Day Weekend:  560 Teams on 16 squads

The next Jamz Tournament event will be the "Friday Night Special" Jamz Tournament and the "One Night Only Jamz Tournament" on Firday night, December 6, 2024, and Saturday night, December 7, 2024, respectively, at Bowlero Altamonte.  BOTH EVENTS SOLD OUT IN SEPTEMBER, IN LESS THAN ONE WEEK!  Thank you!

The next main Jamz Tournament will be across THREE big weekends, February 21-23, 2025, February 28-March 2, 2025, and March 7-9, 2025, at AMF Sky Bowl.  For the complete schedule of all 2025 event, click the "SCHEDULE OF EVENTS" tab above.

Entries for the The Jamz Tournament in February/March of 2025 will require $50.00 deposit to secure the spot for some team captains, if not all.  Should you drop out at any point, there are no refunds, no matter the excuse or circumstances.  This is to eliminate those who casually sign up, promise to pay, only to drop out right before the event begins.  ENTRIES ARE NOT OPEN YET, but will be soon.  At that time, you can book your spot by calling me at 321-356-4290.  More details are in the Facebook Group:  The Jamz Tournament.  The same details are on my Facebook Page:  Suheil Jammal II.
